Deshar held his ground letting the Moth collide with him and barely moving. He reached out and grabbed the Moths wing, holding the creature in place as he ran his blade along it, setting the creature on fire.

The Moth burned just like the others had, there now seemed to be a stream of Moth ashes behind Deshar.

The Giant Moth dropped Bug Eyes.

It seemed that finally the number of Moths let up, they seemed scared to approach. But was that because of him, or something else? Deshar approached what looked like an alter to find some sort of Magical being. "So you're the last line of defense." Deshar spoke, raising his burning blade and pointing it at the Magical creature to impose a challenge. "The winner keeps that which you protect."

The Fiend gathered power to its front, the power formed a sphere and was launched at Deshar.

Deshar blocked the sphere with his blade. Holding the sphere in place with the side of the blade then as the force was lost he cut the sphere in half. He then jumped through the middle of the two halves of sphere and swung at the magical creature.

The Fiend evaded the strike, however it was not able to fully evade. The blade clashed with the edge of the fiend, cutting a chunk of magical energy off of it.
The creature reacted by filling the area around it with harmful magic.

The magic sent a slight pain through Deshars body, he winced but kept his mind in the fight. He took hold of his blade and stabbed it in the ground, sending a shockwave of fire through the ground to bring up chunks of earth to strike the creature.

The Magical Fiend was struck by the shards of ground, it took many strikes and was damaged beyond magical repair. The fiend faded from existance.

The Magical Fiend dropped Plant Tooth.

Deshar sheathed his blade, letting the flames go out. "May you find peace." He whispered to where the creature had been, his foe may have been a monster but still deserved respect for defending another object. "I will protect that which you kept safe."

He made his way up to the alter where two guantlets lay, they seemed normal. Nothing different or special about them, but something felt different. Deshar could tell that these objects were special but even standing before them he did not know what was special. He picked up the gloves, putting them on his hands one by one.

The gauntlets began to glow a mystical blue, they were indowed with magic it seemed. He wondered, if he trained with them would their magic combine with his own to maybe form something new. With the guantlets on hand Deshar began to make his way out of the ruins, it was time to train some more.
